Oh my goodness!! I did it, I did it, I did it!! I just finished a full first draft script of Janey’s War! Holy moly.

I am sitting in the van right now next to river that is probably filled with alligators and it’s beautiful and I’m going to go the beach to CELEBRATE! I’ll try to do a more full blog post later with updates on my last week, but I might not too, I just want to celebrate! But here I am in the moment. Ryan just called to celebrate with me for a moment. Oh my goodness, I can barely believe it. And I’m really proud of it. No matter what happens next, I feel so proud and satisfied to have come this far.

A first draft is COMPLETE! There are still unfinished and unarrranged songs that will occupy my next two weeks, and there will be plenty to do after the first draft is complete, but mark this day. After 25 years of the story sitting in my head, amd slowly taking shape, Janey’s War is now down on paper. Woohoo!
